Author Biographies

Tim Simpson, University of Macau

Tim Simpson is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication, University of Macau, where he has worked since 2001. He is the author of Betting on Macau: Casino Capitalism and China’s Consumer Revolution (University of Minnesota Press).

Adam Lampton, Stonehill College

Adam Lampton’s photographic work has been exhibited and seen internationally in publications including Art in America, The Boston Globe, Camera Austria and the South China Morning Post. He is a recipient of a William J. Fulbright fellowship to Macau SAR, China and a finalist for a Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Grant. He currently is Associate Professor of Studio Arts and Chair at Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
